Food for Thought:  Fruit is a no-brainer for a healthy, fiber-packed sugar fix, but its perks are even sweeter post-exercise.  According to a study in Eating Behaviors, just smelling citrus may prevent splurges.

Running Tip:  Know when to say when.  Reaching your potential requires you to push through discomfort–but only to a degree.  Recognize when you’re up against your injury threshold, then avoid crossing it.  Feel a twinge?  Play it safe and rest (or cross-train).  The goal is to nip an impending injury in the bud instead of pushing through it.

I am kind of obsessed with this Apple BBQ Pulled Chicken.  I can’t lie.  It’s darn tasty.  And anything in a slow cooker is pretty easy to do!  Throw all the ingredients in.  Go to work.  Come home and dinner is done!  Except for the shredding part that is.  But this is delish!  If you are into BBQ at all, you should definitely try it!  A was a fan, too!
